Hull City target free agent eyed by Sheffield United following Brighton exit
Hull City are working on a move for Steven Alzate following his exit from Brighton and Hove Albion, according to reporter Sacha Tavolieri on X.
Hull City are looking to snap up the midfielder on a free transfer during the international break. According to Turkish news outlet Fotomac, fellow Championship side Sheffield United were interested this summer along with Trabzonspor.
Alzate, 25, cut ties with Brighton at the end of last season and his contract with the Premier League outfit officially expired in late June. He has since been weighing up his options in the game as he hunts for a new home.
In this latest update regarding his situation by journalist Tavolieri on X, the player has now emerged on the radar of the Tigers as they look to bolster their ranks. The transfer window ended last Friday but clubs are still able to add to their squads with free agents.
