NFL Insider Predicts Raiders Will Trade Davante Adams to NFC East Ahead of Deadline
The trade speculation swirling around Davante Adams sped up considerably on Wednesday, September 4, when ESPN insider Mina Kimes chimed in and predicted the Las Vegas Raiders will trade the superstar wide receiver to the Washington Commanders by mid-season. Kimes voiced her belief as part of the Monday,
September 2 edition of “The Dominique Foxworth Show,” which was dedicated to the “hottest takes of the NFL season” as authored by Kimes, Foxworth and fellow ESPN contributor Bill Barnwell. “I still think he’s an incredibly, incredibly elite wide receiver. Obviously he was not thrilled with the situation in Las Vegas last year,” Kimes said. “But the Commanders strike me as a team that … [is] going to be, like, just feisty enough to want to do this, and I think they’re also going to be motivated to improve the circumstances of their young quarterback.”
Kimes predicted that if the Commanders do make a move for Adams, the organization will keep him around for the long haul. Meanwhile, Adams spent the day Wednesday debunking what he claims are false rumors put forth by former NFL receiver DeSean Jackson last week that he is unhappy with the Raiders and wants out.
