Leeds player not used by Daniel Farke yet hailed as one of his country’s best players in Nations League match.
Leeds United had numerous of their internationals in action on Friday (6 September) night.
Daniel Farke will be keeping all of his fingers crossed over the coming days that his squad return with a clean bill of health, with a huge match against Burnley next weekend.
The number of players currently away with their respective countries is into double figures and half of them were playing yesterday evening.
Manor Solomon, Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon, Karl Darlow, Charlie Crew, Mateo Joseph and Max Wober were all in action and had varying degrees of success.
Joseph was actually the only one who ended up on the winning side, as he netted the winner just three minutes after coming off the bench for Spain U21s against Scotland.

What Austrian media made of Leeds defender Max Wober
Crew and Darlow were the only two players not to be handed any minutes last night, meaning Wober received some much needed game time for Austria.
Wober is yet to play a single minute of league action so far this season and was nursing a minor calf injury over the course of August.
His only outing for Leeds so far came in the 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Middlesbrough and it would be fair to say Wober delivered a performance a long way from his best.

However, according to the Salzburger Nachrichten, Wober produced a solid display in Austria’s 1-1 draw away at Slovenia.
Wober was praised for his front-foot defending and intent in possession, and was therefore labelled as one of Austria’s best performers on the night.
They wrote: “Maximilian Wöber. Defended boldly and actively as usual. So asserted himself against the Slovenians. Also tried to move forward. Strong.”
