Radu Dragusin Romania display will concern Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou will no doubt be concerned by the performance Radu Dragusin put in against Kosovo for Romania (6 September).
Dragusin is one of the stand-out players for Romania in terms of the club that he plays for.
However, his outing against Kosovo left a lot to be desired despite the 3-0 win. While Postecoglou uses the Romanian as a back-up to the likes of Christian Romero and Micky van de Ven, that doesn’t mean his performances should slip.
His performances during Euro 2024 were stellar which piqued the interest of many Spurs fans with the defender even being given a chance to prove his worth during Spurs’ most recent Premier League game against Newcastle United due to Van de Ven’s injury-enforced absence.
However, as Postecoglou is a manager who likes his players to be able to play out of the back, Dragusin’s latest performance for Romania against Kosovo could well give the Australian a bit of a selection headache.

As aforementioned, one of Postecoglou’s priorities when it comes to centre-backs is the fact that they can play out from the back and be comfortable in possession.
