Now 2 Bucs Dealing With Concussions
Bucs cornerback Zyon McCollum suffered a concussion in the first half of Sunday’s 37-20 win over the Commanders. But on Wednesday, another Bucs starter appeared on the injury report.
Right tackle Luke Goedeke was a surprise addition to the Wednesday injury report. He went through part of practice on Wednesday and showed concussion symptoms so the team put him in the protocol. His concussion likely happened in Sunday’s game.
If Goedeke can’t go on Sunday, the Bucs will start Justin Skule at right tackle against Detroit. Both Goedeke and McCollum were listed as limited participants on Tampa Bay’s injury report on Wednesday.

Despite having a concussion, there might be a better chance that cornerback Zyon McCollum plays against the Lions this week than right tackle Luke Goedeke. Both Bucs will have to pass concussion protocol later in the week in order to be eligible to play against the Lions.
The good news for Tampa Bay is that reserve defensive tackle Logan Hall returned to practice in a limited fashion. Hall has a foot injury and missed Sunday’s season opening win against Washington. Starting defensive tackle Calijah Kancey missed the Commanders game with a calf injury and was out of practice again on Wednesday.
Here is the complete Bucs injury report from Wednesday:
ILB K.J. Britt – illness – limited

DT Logan Hall – foot – limited
CB Josh Hayes – ankle – did not participate
