Fulham show West Ham how it’s done ahead of Premier League clash with bold move before game has even started
West Ham United travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in the Premier League this afternoon.
The Premier League clash with Fulham is a vitally important one for West Ham, after our return of just three points from our opening three games.
Fulham currently sit one place and one point ahead of the Hammers in the table, and a win today would represent a decent start to the 2024/25 season for Julen Lopetegui.
Lopetegui has already spoken about how he’s happy with his squad after the summer transfer window, so now it’s down to him to get the best out of the players he has at his disposal.
This afternoon’s clash with Fulham will be a really tough test for the Hammers, there’s no doubt about that.
And Fulham have already shown us how it’s done…off the pitch at least.
Fulham show West Ham how it’s done before Premier League clash
The game at Craven Cottage kicks off at 3pm this afternoon.
The Hammers fans will travel to west London in their thousands, and getting to Fulham’s ground early will certainly pay off today.
That’s because Fulham are incentivising fans to get to Craven Cottage early with the promise of cheap drinks, via their official X account.
This kind of initiative makes me very jealous indeed. It would never happen at the London Stadium, because the club don’t control the pricing of drinks.
So well done to Fulham I say, and let’s hope that we’re in the position to do the same thing in the not-too-distant future.
