Heung-min Son is leading the way in the Premier League with one key stat
According to WhoScored, Son Heung-min made more key passes against Brentford than any player has in a single Premier League game this season.
Heung-min Son is still getting up to speed
Son has historically tended to be a slow starter, usually taking a few games to get his sharpness back before usually coming into his own a few months into the campaign.
That has seemingly been the case this year as well, with the South Korean being well short of his best in the first few matches of the campaign.
However, against Brentford, the Tottenham captain showed signs that he is now clicking into gear as he was a constant threat in-behind and combined very well with the likes of Dominic Solanke and James Maddison.
Son would have been disappointed not to get on the scoresheet but he did pick up two assists, setting up both Maddison and Brennan Johnson.
Heung-min Son is making key passes for fun
WhoScored have now revealed that the forward made seven key passes against the Bees, which is more than any player has this in a single game this season.
