The Sixers will reportedly sign Lester Quinones, who spent the last two seasons with the Warriors, to a two-way deal
The Philadelphia 76ers are shuffling their two-way contract spots ahead of media day and training camp. The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that the Sixers are signing Lester Quinones to a two-way deal:
Before diving into Quinones, I want to give HoopsHype’s Mike Scotto some deserved praise, as he had linked the Sixers to Quinones back in July. There was clearly some interest registered for some time now between both parties.
Quinones is an intriguing add to say the least. He went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, later signing a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors and splitting time in the G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors. Quinones had a strong first year in the G League, averaging 17.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists; including a 42-point, eight-rebound performance against the Salt Lake City Stars.
