Luton Town poised to be without five players for Oxford United clash
Luton Town are poised to be without Tahith Chong, Mads Andersen, Carlton Morris, Daiki Hashioka and Shandon Baptiste this evening, as per their official club website.
Luton Town are back in Championship action with a home clash against newly promoted Oxford United as they look to return to winning ways. They were beaten 3-1 against Plymouth Argyle last time out.
Chong suffered a knock on the head at Home Park and is now sidelined, whilst Andersen was withdrawn against the Pilgrims with a slight muscle strain so is unavailable.
In addition, the Hatters’ website has reported Morris is ‘unlikely’ to be risked against the U’s after he sat out against Wayne Rooney’s side. In addition, Hashioka and Baptiste have returned to trainign but tonight’s match has come ‘too soon’ for the pair.
Luton Town are sat in 19th place in the table after a slow start to the new season.
