Tyler Morton says working under new Liverpool boss Arne Slot has helped improve his game as he looks to make his mark with his hometown club.
Morton is back at Anfield after two seasons on loan in the Championship with Blackburn Rovers and Hull City and is aiming to make an impact in the Premier League, and says he’s developing into a more rounded midfielder performer under the Dutchman.
The 21-year-old impressed at City last term, playing 39 games in the Championship under Liam Rosenior as the Tigers narrowly missed out on a place in the Championship play-offs in the final weeks of the campaign.
Speculation was rife during the summer that the England Under-21 international may leave Merseyside with a permanent move to Leipzig mooted, while other possible transfer deals were talked about in the final weeks of the window, but nothing came to pass and he remained at Liverpool.
