Padres Are Once Again Restricting Dodgers Fans From Buying Tickets For NLDS Matchup
As the NLDS kicks off Saturday, multiple Dodgers fans were notified that tickets for Game 3 and Game 4 (if needed) at Petco Park were unavailable for purchase to those who live in Los Angeles County.
“Petco Park is located in San Diego,” the notification said. “Sales to this event will be restricted to residents of San Diego County, southern Orange County, western Arizona, Las Vegas and the surrounding area, and all of Baja California. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside San Diego County, southern Orange county, western Arizona, Las Vegas, and the surrounding area, and all of Baja California will be canceled without notice and refunds given.”
The Dodgers will face the Padres at Petco Park for Game 3 of the NLDS, and if necessary Game 4. The Padres are doing their best to prevent Los Angeles fans from entering Petco Park.
The Padres are hoping to have a home crowd with no blue in the stands. The San Diego fanbase had already begun chanting “Beat L.A.” following the Padres 5-4 triumph over the Atlanta Braves Wednesday night.
