Stoke City injury latest regarding Sam Gallagher ahead of Norwich City clash after the international break
Stoke City will assess Sam Gallagher over the international break, as detailed in a report by StokeOnTrentLive.
Stoke City were forced to substitute the striker over the weekend during their 0-0 draw away at Swansea City. He started the game and hobbled off with five minutes to go at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Gallagher, 29, joined the Potters over the summer from fellow Championship side Blackburn Rovers and has scored once in three fixtures so far this season for his new club. He penned a three-year deal running until June 2027 with the Staffordshire outfit.
In this latest update regarding his condition, StokeOnTrentLive report he will be checked on over the coming weeks with the hope that he has just suffered ‘cramp’ or a ‘minor’ injury. Narcis Pelach’s side are back in action on 19th October against Norwich City at home before fixtures against Bristol City and Sheffield United to see off this month.
Stoke City will hope Gallagher is fit to play in their next game and he has these upcoming two weeks to get back up to speed.
He was snapped up by the Potters to add more competition and depth to their striking department.
