‘Positive impact’ – Watford boss Tom Cleverley drops selection hint ahead of Luton Town trip after the international break
Watford boss Tom Cleverley has said Kwadwo Baah is on the ‘right path’ to begin starting games.
Watford brought on the attacker in their 2-1 weekend win over Middlesbrough at Vicarage Road. He scored a late winner as they picked up three points.
Baah, 21, is proving to be a useful player to have in the squad for the Hornets and will be benefitting from the game time he is currently getting. They are sat in 6th place in the Championship table heading into the international break and are a point above both Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers inside the top six.
Next up is an away trip to rivals Luton Town. Cleverley has said, as per a report by the Watford Observer: “Baah will continue to get minutes and he’s on the right path to starting games for us, but he’s made a positive impact today and is doing that every single game. I’m proud of the mentality the players showed today, and that includes those who made an impact from the bench.”
