Abdus Omur injury latest after Hull City star misses Norwich City defeat.
The Tigers suffered a heavy loss in Norfolk at the weekend.
Hull City hope to have Abdus Omur back available after the international break after he missed the 4-0 defeat at Norwich City through injury.
The Turkish international picked up a hamstring problem on Friday and was not involved at Carrow Road, though it’s hoped the mercurial playmaker will return after the international break.
Omur did travel with the rest of the first team squad out to Antalya on Monday morning, with City’s players spending the week in the Turkish sunshine, where he’ll go through his recovery in a bid to return to full fitness ahead of successive home games against Sunderland and Burnley straight after the break.
The former Trabzonspor ace wasn’t the only one not involved at Carrow Road on Saturday, with Fin Burns also missing from the squad, though that was solely down to selection, as was Gustavo Puerta.
Puerta, who arrived in the final week of the transfer window from German Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, is yet to make an appearance for the Tigers in the Championship, though he did score for the Under-21s last week against Coventry City as Conor Sellars’ side won for a fifth game in a row.
During their week-long trip to Turkey, Walter will hope to see Ryan Longman and Dogukan Sinik make further progress in their recovery from injury, along with young goalkeepers Thimothee Lo-Tutala and Harvey Cartwright.
