Dogukan Sinik made his long-awaited return to action in Hull City’s comfortable friendly win over Corendon Alanyaspor at Gain Park Stadium. Writing on his Instagram account, Sinik posted: “I’m back on the pitch today! Thank you to my club and supporters. It feels great to wear the jersey again.”

More than a year has elapsed since Sinik last played for City as they crashed to a 3-0 defeat at Ipswich Town. The Turkish international spent the second half of last season on loan at Hatayspor, having found himself surplus to requirements under then boss Liam Rosenior.
