Welsh media was delighted with Rodon, with Wales Online [14 October] giving him an 8/10, and commented: “Been in top form for his club and continued that at Cardiff City Stadium.

“So rarely lets you down. A top operator and another terrific performance. Some big interventions late on.”

Y Clw Pel-droed [14 October] gave the 26-year-old the same rating and wrote: “Rodon continued his fine form at the back for Wales as he won near enough everything that was sent into their box. He showed real leadership whilst partnered with the lesser experienced Cabango next to him.”
