Brighton and Brentford in picture for young attacking midfielder – Club set starting price at €15m.
Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford are among the clubs in the mix to sign Famalicão’s Gustavo Sá.
The Portuguese club signed the 19-year-old from FC Porto in 2018 for their academy and promoted him to their first team in 2022.
Sá managed four goals and five assists from 31 matches in all competitions last season and has a goal and an assist from eight games this season. His performances have seen clubs across Europe take notice.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Brighton and Brentford are included in this list. These two clubs are tagged after mentioning Lazio and Bologna’s interest. The Biancocelesti have been keeping close tabs on the attacking midfielder in recent months.
Lazio are joined by Bologna, who have expressed their interest in the youngster. At this moment in time, Bologna haven’t taken any further steps to try and sign the Portugal U21 international.
As well as the two Italian clubs, Sá has caught the attention of Premier League sides, and Brighton and Brentford have included him in their target list.
Back in June, the teenager signed a new contract until 2029. TMW state Famalicão have set a starting price of €15m. It’s not clear whether Brighton, Brentford or any other club are willing to meet their demand.
