After losing 1-0 to Nottingham Forest on Monday evening, Crystal Palace have endured their joint worst start to a Premier League season after eight games played.
It’s the first time that Palace have not won in that period since the 1992/93 season and Oliver Glasner’s stock has suddenly fallen through the floor.
Glasner’s start at Selhurst Park last season was nothing short of incredible, but all of that good work is now quickly being evaporated.
Palace are 18th and have scored the fewest goals in the Premier League, a club who paid big money to sign a new striker this summer in Eddie Nketiah.

As mentioned, Glasner finished last season on a real high and even turned down the chance to take over at Bayern Munich.
However, Palace’s winless start to the season has Parish and the club’s hierarchy hugely concerned.
Sources have confirmed that intermediaries and agents have held talks with Palace about different managerial candidates.
Former West Ham United boss David Moyes is one of the options that Palace are considering, a manager who was let go by the east Londoners last summer.
Parish also has a lot of respect for former Chelsea coach Graham Potter who is now also on the club’s radar to replace Glasner, were a change to be made.

Of course, there will still be a lot of Palace fans who will want the club to give Glasner more time, given what he achieved last season.
Losing Michael Olise to Bayern was obviously a huge blow in the summer, but not one that justifies such a significant drop off in form.
Perhaps Glasner’s future will be decided over the next three games before the November international break, when the club will need to find their first win and lift themselves out of the relegation places.
