West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has said he doesn’t think Kyle Bartley will be available for the weekend.
West Brom left the defender out of their 0-0 draw away at Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park last night.

Bartley, 33, has sustained an issue with his knee and wasn’t risked against John Eustace’s side as the Baggies secured another point. They remain inside the play-offs.
They are back in action this Saturday with a home clash against a Cardiff City side who have hit some form recently under Omer Riza. In this latest update regarding his condition, Corberan has said, as per the official club website: “Bartley let us know during training that his knee had not recovered properly from the previous game. I don’t think he’ll be ready for the game against Cardiff on Saturday, but we will have to wait and see how the knee reacts in the next few days.”
Bartley’s absence against Blackburn Rovers paved the way for Paddy McNair to make his debut.
The Baggies will hope he is fit for their trip to Luton Town on 1st November, assuming he is to miss their match against Cardiff City.

He has been on the books at The Hawthorns since 2018 and has been a decent servant to the Midlands outfit.

The Stockport-born man has made 211 appearances in all competitions to date, 10 of which have come this season, and he has scored 15 goals from the back.
Bartley penned a new deal this past summer until June 2025 and that will be extended by a further 12 months if he plays a certain number of games in this campaign.
He has also played for the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Arsenal, Sheffield United, Rangers, Swansea City, Birmingham City and Leeds United in the past.

What now?
West Brom will probably have to make do without Bartley against Cardiff City.
The Baggies will want to return to winning ways against the Bluebirds as they eye promotion to the Premier League.
