Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler says the medical team are “working all the hours” to get Danny Welbeck fit in time to face Wolves this Saturday.
Welbeck has been excellent for Brighton this season and his winner at Newcastle last weekend was his fifth Premier League goal from eight appearances this season.

The injury was not as bad as first feared and the former Arsenal and Manchester United striker has not yet been ruled of the game against Gary O’Neil’s struggling Wolves team.
“He will train today and then we will see and make a decision,” said Brighton head coach Hurzeler in today’s press conference. “Danny he got hit on the nerve and he did not feel the leg for some time and was very painful.
“It is still painful but again we have to make a check today. There’s a training session and then a lot of treatment for him. Our medical and our physios are working every hour with him to make him fit for the game. It will be a challenge for us but we hope everything will be good.”
Brazilian striker Joao Pedro (ankle), midfielder Solly March (knee), James Milner (hamstring) and defender Adam Webster (thigh) remain side-lined and Gambia winger Jankuba Minteh (muscular) is a doubt ahead of the Saturday.
