Derby County will be without four players for Championship clash with Hull City The Tigers will be aiming to inflict a rare home defeat on the Rams.

Derby County will be without four players when they host Hull City at Pride Park on Saturday looking to make it four games unbeaten.

The Rams, who drew 1-1 at fellow newly-promoted Oxford United on Tuesday night, will be unable to call upon Tawanda Chirewa (quad), Ryan Nyambe (knee), David Ozoh (quad) and Jake Rooney (knee) when City arrive in the East Midlands.

On loan, Crystal Palace midfielder Ozoh is recovering from a hamstring injury, while Nyambe damaged the posterior ligament in his knee during last week’s 1-1 draw at Millwall and faces up to six months on the sidelines.

“I was partially aware of it on Tuesday but I didn’t know the severity of it. I wasn’t going to come out after the game and say, and it wasn’t the time either,” Warne said of Ozoh.

“He’s damaged his quad which is disappointing because it was his last day with the physical team before he was due to train with the squad today. We won’t be seeing him before the next international break, that’s for sure. That’s a massive blow. He is devastated because by the time he is back that’s two and a half months we will have been without him.
“He’s had a really good start and it shows how far the team has come because while he’s been missing, the team have been performing.”
