More changes afoot for Hull City’s Derby County test with Millar and Puerta decision made The Tigers will go in search of a first Pride Park success since the Championship play-offs in 2016.
Tim Walter will almost certainly be forced into making at least one change to his Hull City side for Saturday’s trip to Derby County.
Liam Millar, drafted back into the side at the expense of Abu Kamara, limped out of Wednesday night’s 1-1 draw with Burnley after taking a kick to his knee, and looks almost certain to miss the East Midlands’ meeting.
There could also be another change in midfield, though that may depend on whether or not Walter feels Gustavo Puerta can play three high-octane games in a week having only made his debut in English football against Sunderland last Sunday afternoon.
The Colombian has impressed in his two outings so far, Walter may be tempted to put fresh legs in there, and isn’t short of options with Oscar Zambrano and Kasey Palmer both pushing for returns to the starting XI.
Up front, it’s likely the German head coach will revert to Chris Bedia in place of Joao Pedro. Despite the Italian doing a job in trying to press hard against Burnley, he mustered just five touches of the ball, so the Ivory Coast frontman could make a return to the starting XI.
