Leicester City predicted lineup, latest team and injury news as Wout Faes dropped vs Man Utd.
Leicester City travel to Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday after losing to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
Whilst Leicester are currently 15th in the top flight after nine matches, Man United are remarkably only two points and one place better off in the standings.
As a result, Erik ten Hag was relieved of his duties on Monday, with United legend Ruud Van Nistelrooy being put in interim charge for the time being.
Steve Cooper would have perhaps preferred to have played the Red Devils when they were managed by ten Hag but his dismissal changes the complexion completely, and it could give the hosts a new lease of life.
Nonetheless, the Foxes are looking to make the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup for the first time since 2022/23 by beating Man United on Wednesday.

Leicester City team news ahead of Man United
Following Leicester’s 3-1 defeat to Forest, Cooper is set to be without five of his first-team stars when they travel to Old Trafford tomorrow night.
Left-back Victor Kristiansen was the latest player to be forced to the sidelines last week after picking up a groin injury, causing him to miss Friday night’s loss.
Jannik Vestergaard didn’t return to training at the end of last week as he nurses an ankle problem, and Wednesday night’s fixture could come too soon as a result.

Leicester predicted lineup vs Man United
With Cooper more focused on keeping Leicester in the Premier League and a six-pointer to come against Ipswich Town, he could make several changes to the side that lost to Forest, starting with Danny Ward replacing Mads Hermansen in goal.
Ward should be joined by a back four of James Justin, returning to his favoured right-back role, along with Caleb Okoli, Conor Coady and Luke Thomas, who started in previous wins over Tranmere and Walsall.
That also means Wout Faes drops out of the side after a poor showing against Forest, with the Belgian at fault for Chris Wood’s second goal of the game.
Cooper could also freshen up his engine room by starting Boubakary Soumare and Oliver Skipp alongside each other in midfield.
They could be joined by the ‘wonderful’ Kasey McAteer and Bobby De Cordova-Reid on the wings with Bilal El Khannouss slotting in behind Odsonne Edouard, who is yet to score for the Foxes this term.
