Norwich City’s Zoe Webber has been appointed to the EFL Board as the new Championship representative.
Currently an Executive Director at Norwich City, as well as a Trustee of the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, Webber also served previously as an Alternate Director on the EFL Board and on the EFL’s Commercial Committee.
Webber joins Preston North End Director, Peter Ridsdale, and Middlesbrough Chief Executive, Neil Bausor, as Championship representatives.
Zoe said: “It is an honour to have been appointed as a Championship representative on the EFL Board. I’m looking forward to working with Board colleagues and Clubs at a time when there are so many important issues to navigate. I also hope to be able to provide a fresh perspective across several key areas of our work.”
EFL Chair, Rick Parry said: “We are delighted to welcome Zoe onto the Board. In Zoe, we have someone who brings vast experience in the football industry and a sound understanding of the landscape from both a Club and League perspective. Her background in football administration and current roles at both Norwich City and the Community Sports Foundation make her a great addition and we’re looking forward to working alongside her in the years ahead.”
Lincoln City’s Liam Scully and Exeter City’s Julian Tagg remain the representatives for League One, following their election to the Board in the summer.
The League Two representative on the EFL Board is Crewe Alexandra Chair, Charles Grant, while our remaining Board positions are held by Independent Non-Executive Directors, Caroline Artis and Justine Roberts CBE, our CEO Trevor Birch, and Chair Rick Parry.
