Jeff Ulbrich calling defensive plays
Haason Reddick finally made his long-awaited NY Jets debut in the team’s Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday, finishing the game with three pressures and zero total tackles.
It was an inauspicious debut for Reddick, who is already dealing with an injury after just one game. Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich told reporters on Monday that Reddick suffered a neck injury in Sunday’s loss.
Reddick was estimated as a limited participant on Monday (the Jets did not hold an official practice) and Ulbrich insisted the team is not concerned about his status for Week 9.
However, Reddick’s status is worth monitoring with a short week ahead of the Jets’ Thursday Night Football matchup with the Houston Texans on Halloween. We’ll see if Ulbrich provides more accurate injury assessments than his predecessor.

Will the Jets release Greg Zuerlein?
Greg Zuerlein has statistically been the worst kicker in the NFL this season. While this Jets team has issues that extend far beyond their special teams, Zuerlein has been at least partially responsible for three Jets losses this season, including this past Sunday when he missed an extra point and a 44-yard field goal attempt.
