West Brom need to get their winning spirit back sooner rather than later.

‘Disappointing’ attacker dropped as ‘danger man’ returns – West Brom predicted XI vs Luton.

Carlos Corberan might make several changes against Luton Town to try and help West Bromwich Albion’s goalscoring woes.
The Baggies head out on the road this Friday to take on the recently relegated Luton at Kenilworth Road.

West Brom are in desperate need of a lift following five successive matches without a win, four of which have been draws. Corberan’s men have scored merely one goal in that period, severely slowing their output after their blistering start to the campaign.

Albion, owing to the five victories and one draw in their first six matches, are still in the Championship top five as it stands. That will change if this poor run continues, however, so returning to winning ways needs to happen sooner rather than later.

The good news is it’s the perfect time to face Luton as they are really struggling. The Hatters were tipped for play-off football following their drop from the Premier League but the reality is far different as they are currently in the relegation zone. Albion will be keen to pile on the misery.

With changes needed to freshen up West Brom’s fortunes, here’s the starting XI we reckon Corberan will name under the lights at Kenilworth Road.

West Brom predicted XI vs Luton
GK – Alex Palmer: The goalkeeper has started the new season strongly, picking up where he left off last term. Palmer has seven clean sheets so far in 2024/25.

RB – Darnell Furlong: Locked in at right-back, Furlong is one of the first names on the team sheet. Nobody is challenging him for this slot at the moment.

CB – Semi Ajayi:The Nigerian has started every league game so far but he’s perhaps lucky to have done so, as his form has dropped off lately.

CB – Torbjorn Heggem: The summer signing could move across to central defence while Kyle Bartley and Holgate recover from their respective fitness woes.

LB – Callum Styles: Yet to start in the Championship, Styles could get the nod at left-back if Heggem does indeed switch roles.
