West Brom, Leeds United and Sheffield United want Premier League man

West Brom, Leeds United and Sheffield United are all keen on Nottingham Forest’s Lewis O’Brien, according to a report by TEAMtalk.
The midfielder is currently out on loan at Los Angeles FC in the MLS but is a wanted man in the Championship at the moment. He has made 15 appearances in all competitions during his time in America and has scored once.

O’Brien, 26, is under contract at Nottingham Forest until the summer of 2026 after linking up with them back in 2022 after their promotion. However, he has fallen out of favour with the Premier League side and his long-term future is up in the air.

According to TEAMtalk, West Brom, Leeds United and Sheffield United want to land him in the upcoming January transfer window. The trio aren’t the only teams mentioned as potential suitors either, with Southampton, Stoke City and Hull City also credited with an interest.

O’Brien rose up through the academy ranks at Huddersfield Town and was a regular for the Yorkshire outfit at various different youth levels.

He was loaned out to Bradford City before breaking into the Terriers’ first-team.
