Aaron Rodgers Breaks Silence on Rumored Tension with Texans HC DeMeco Ryans
Many intriguing storylines came out of the New York Jets’ 21-13 win over the Houston Texans on “Thursday Night Football.” However, one of the most-talked about moments happened after the game ended.
As the players and coaches met to shake hands and give well wishes after the final whistle blew, a video began circulation on social media showing Texans head coach DeMeco Ryan walking past Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers without really acknowledging his presence. Several began speculating there was actual animosity between Rodgers and the Texans coach, but the 40-year-old QB set the record straight about what really happened during his Friday appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Social media ran wild with several conspiracy theories after the game about what potential conflict there could be between the two, and some ran with the fact that Ryans and recently fired Jets head coach Robert Saleh are close friends (there have been conflicting reports about whether or not Rodgers was happy Saleh was fired.) However, McAfee pulled up a still frame from immediately after the game ended of Rodgers and Ryans exchanging pleasantries, effectively pouring cold water on any notion there was actual bad blood between the two.
