October’s break came against the backdrop of severe injury issues for Leeds as they looked incredibly short in midfield and at the back.
One of the major setbacks that forced Leeds to eventually dip into the free agent market for Josuha Guilavogui was Max Wöber.
The Austrian centre-back suffered meniscus trouble during international duty early in the season and was then forced to undergo surgery, confirmed at the end of September.
