‘That’s our job’ – Hull City boss Tim Walter shares January transfer window update
Hull City boss Tim Walter has said the club have their ‘eyes open’ for potential January targets.
Hull City have the chance to bring in some more players this winter when the new transfer window opens.
The Tigers are currently sat in 19th place in the table and are above the drop zone on goal difference.
When asked whether injuries to Mohamed Belloumi and Liam Millar have changed their plans, he said, as per a report by HullLive: “No, because we always have our eyes open to get more players in with more quality to help us get better. We have to do it, that’s our job. It’s our job to keep our eyes open, to make the club and the team much stronger.”
He added: “Yeah, I agree (that the window is looming large on the horizon). Nobody knows it is Christmas then, because it’s not every year on the same on the same day, so it’s always the same. It’s the same with the transfer period, so everybody knows that January is open for the transfer period and and then it’s there, so it’s life.”
