‘He has been training’ – West Brom boss Carlos Corberan shares injury update regarding summer recruit ahead of Norwich City clash
West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has said Gianluca Frabotta has returned to ‘training’ during the international break.
West Brom haven’t seen much of the left-back since they swooped to sign him in the last transfer window.
Frabotta, 25, has been out of action with a groin issue over recent times and has been slowly building his fitness back up.
In this latest update regarding his condition, Corberan has said, as per a report by BirminghamLive: “He has been training during the international break. The normal training sessions. So he is one player that we have had, and if he is OK in training on Friday then he will be in the squad. Deago Nelson was the player from the under-21s who was involved instead of him (against Hull).”
The Baggies are back in action this weekend with a home clash against Norwich City as they look to build on their win away at Hull City.
West Brom fitness update
West Brom will need to assess Frabotta and decide whether to add him into their squad against the Canaries.
He was snapped up by the Baggies this past summer to bolster their defensive department.
