The agreement takes effect on Jan. 1 and will run through the 2039 MLB season, according to the news release, and will include unspecified “partnership benefits.” Minute Maid will continue to be a partner of the Astros until 2029, according to the release.

The naming rights partnership will allow the team, whose streak of seven straight American League Championship Series appearances ended against the Detroit Tigers this year, to continue to invest in stadium amenities, according to the release.

The home of the two-time World Series champions has been named Minute Maid Park since 2002, according to the release.

“We want to thank Minute Maid and The Coca-Cola Company for their longstanding commitment to our ballpark,” Jim Crane, owner and chairman of the Houston Astros, said via news release. “Minute Maid came on board at a very critical time in our history and we are thrilled they will continue to remain a partner of the Astros for many years to come.”
