Insider Predicts $119 Million Astros Legend Will Betray Houston For Reunion In Detroit

The Houston Astros are desperately trying to re-sign their franchise cornerstone third baseman Alex Bregman this winter. Houston has reportedly offered Bregman well over $150 million, but it seems as though the third baseman wants somewhere in the ballpark of $200 million this winter.

FanSided’s MLB insider, Robert Murray, doesn’t think Bregman will return to Houston. In fact, Murray indicates that he believes (purely based on vibes, as Murray states) that Bregman is headed to the Detroit Tigers for a reunion with manager AJ Hinch.

That said, if it falls through, the Tigers are a solid landing place for the 30-year-old.
