Leicester City fans issue damning verdict after one Ruud van Nistelrooy decision vs West Ham.
Leicester City fans have made their feelings very clear on one thing after the meeting with West Ham United.
It was an excellent start to life as Leicester City manager for Ruud van Nistelrooy on Tuesday
The 48-year-old may well have been nervous for the clash, especially after watching the Foxes get thumped 4-1 by Brentford in their previous match.
But Leicester took the lead after just two minutes against the East London outfit, with West Ham fans left in awe of Jamie Vardy following his opener on the day.
The away team then piled the pressure on to try and force an equaliser but Mads Hermansen wowed Leicester fans as he produced numerous good saves to keep his team in front.
Bilal El Khannouss made it 2-0 in the 61st minute, scoring his first-ever Premier League goal since his summer move.
After the game, El Khannouss revealed he was inspired by his teammates’ socks in Leicester’s win, taking to social media to react to his goal.
Overall, it was a very positive display from the Midlands outfit but one player still managed to draw the ire of the Leicester faithful in midweek.
Leicester City fans make feelings on Wout Faes clear after West Ham
Van Nistelrooy opted to make a few big calls for his first game in charge of Leicester.
Conor Coady and Jannik Vestergaard were both brought into the starting line-up in place of Caleb Okoli and Wout Faes.
Following the tie, Leicester fans were asked if it was the right call to drop the Belgian, who has previously been such a key player for the club.
