Less than a week after being sacked by Wolves, Gary O’Neil has been approached by another club.
Wolves let O’Neil go after the defeat to Ipswich Town, ending the Englishman’s 16-month stay in the West Midlands.
Things have moved swiftly at Molineux since the 41-year-old’s departure, with Vitor Pereira announced as Wolves’ new manager four days later.
Pereira’s first game in charge will be Leicester City, as the Midlands side prepare to battle at the King Power Stadium under their new leader.

Pereira announced his exit from Al-Shabab on social media, bidding farewell to Saudi Arabia and former Wolf Daniel Podence.
While the Saudi Pro League side were disappointed to lose their manager, there was a different feeling at Wolves when O’Neil left.
Wolves fans had lost trust in O’Neil, seeing the Englishman go at a time when his sacking had become an inevitability.
Despite O’Neil’s failures at Wolves, the former Bournemouth boss is already being considered for managerial positions elsewhere.
The Mirror reported that amid Millwall’s hunt to replace Neil Harris, O’Neil was contacted to take the vacant role at The Den.
It’s said that the former Wolves manager considered the move too soon after his dismissal at Molineux.
The Lions have moved on from considering O’Neil as a candidate, with Alex Neil the most likely successor to Harris at present.

O’Neil did produce some memorable moments at Wolves in his first season in charge, guiding the Old Gold to the FA Cup quarter-final and a 14th-place finish.
Unfortunately the Englishman left the Midlands with a shocking record departing his squad who are 19th in the Premier League table and four points from safety.
