Broadcast Deal Brings Partial Braves Schedule Back to Peachtree TV
The Atlanta Braves and Gray Media agreed on a multi-year partnership starting in for Gray 15 regular-season games to be broadcast alongside the FanDuel Sports Network. The 15 games will be spread across the season, to be announced at a later date. Gray will also exclusively produce and air 10 spring training games. Gray will carry the Braves in 24 markets across six states of the Braves’ home television territory.
In the Atlanta market, games will broadcast on Peachtree TV and the Peachtree Sports Network. That brings the Braves back to the spiritual successor to WTBS, which brought Atlanta games across the nation on Ted Turner’s superstation from 1973-2007. That was followed by a run on Peachtree TV from 2008-13. Beyond Atlanta, Gray will air games on its network of stations, including the Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network, Tennessee Valley Sports & Entertainment Network and portions of the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network.
A select number of games will also air on some of Gray’s ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and CW affiliates. “We are thrilled to partner with Gray Media to offer our fans more opportunities to watch a simulcast of certain games and access our content all across the Southeast,” Braves president and CEO Derek Schiller said in a release. “This partnership makes Braves baseball even more accessible, allowing fans throughout Braves Country the ability to watch in a way that best suits them, whether that is on cable, local TV or streaming.”
