Analyst Reveals Why The Jets Are Not ‘Fixable’

But now, after the Jets have lost four of their first 14 games of 2024, it is clear that this experiment with Rodgers simply isn’t working.

Rodgers isn’t sure if he wants to play for the Jets next season, and while some may feel they simply need a viable, above-average quarterback to finally become competitive, there are many others who feel their problems run much deeper than the over-the-hill and polarizing Rodgers.

On Fox Sports 1’s “Speak,” NFL reporter Jordan Schultz said the Jets cannot be fixed as long as Woody Johnson owns them.

Johnson, an heir to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, has owned the Jets since 2000, and during that time, they have firmly entrenched themselves as NFL laughingstocks.

While they made the playoffs six times in Johnson’s first 11 seasons as their owner and reached the AFC Championship Game in 2009 and 2010, they have simply been unable to sustain any real success, and the quarterback position has been a revolving door of false prophets and overall busts.
