The 26-year-old arrived at Luton Town in the summer of 2023 and in interview with TipsBladet, he has spoken about his future at Kenilworth Road.

He revealed that he would be open to playing abroad, even if he is currently happy in England.

“It’s not that I want to rule out other English clubs, but it could also be fun to try something different in other countries.”

“I’ve been in England for many years now and I like it. I would never say that I’m just going to be in English football for the rest of my career.”

Speaking further, the centre-back stated that he would never reject a move to Brondby, where he has previously played once and came through their reserve side.

“I would never say no to a move to Brøndby. It’s difficult. I’m still young, but I always think that people who grew up around Brøndby have a little dream of playing for the club if they haven’t been able to do so.”

The Dane does not specify when he might depart the club and that should come as a relief for Luton Town fans.

Andersen played over 100 games in the Championship for Barnsley and has vast experience of playing in the competition.

This could be a boost for Hatters this season and if he stays fit Andersen can play a key role in the club’s endeavours this season.
