Leicester City transfer news and rumours: Patson Daka offered out, Manchester United gem linked and more
Leicester City are expected to make a number of signings during the 2025 winter transfer window.
We’re now in day four of the January window and already we have seen Leicester City tipped to sign a number of players.
The Foxes are firmly entrenched in a relegation battle going into Saturday’s meeting with Aston Villa and will need all the reinforcements they can get to avoid the drop.
With that said, here’s all the latest Leicester City transfer news going into the weekend.
Leicester City linked with Emmanuel Latte Lath
A report earlier this week claimed Leicester are rivalling Nottingham Forest for Petar Musa.
The MLS forward would be a solid addition for the Foxes and now another striker has been linked with a move to the King Power Stadium.
Alan Nixon reported Leicester are set to sign Emmanuel Latte Lath from Championship outfit Middlesbrough for £12m.
However, speculation has since emerged that said report is not completely accurate but it’s one to keep an eye on going forward.
Ruud van Nistelrooy could now raid Manchester United
At the other end of the pitch, the Midlands outfit will surely have to improve their backline this month.
They have the joint-worse defense in the Premier League at present but Ruud van Nistelrooy may turn to former club Manchester United to solve that problem.
Reports have now claimed that Leicester want to sign Harry Amass from the Red Devils in January.
The 17-year-old has shone at youth level but is yet to make a senior appearance for the Manchester outfit.
