Sean Dyche sack claim made live on talkSPORT after Everton loss v Bournemouth
Everton manager Sean Dyche needs to improve results or else he will be sacked, according to Alan Pardew.
The Blues have not won in their last five Premier League matches since a 4-0 victory over Wolves on 4 December and stumbled to a 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday (4 January).
As a result, they sit 16th in the Premier League, just one point above the relegation zone with a game in hand on their fellow strugglers against arch-rivals Liverpool.
Dyche is under severe pressure and Pardew gave his verdict live on talkSPORT [5 January, 20:51], saying: “No. I’m not calling for [his sack] at all but they need results.
“There’s a lot of pressure on him, especially with the new stadium. I don’t know where this will go.
“Results are everything for Sean. He doesn’t play an attractive style and he knows he needs results.”

Sky Sports reported on Monday (6 January) that The Friedkin Group have held crunch talks regarding the Goodison Park future of Dyche.
A report from Josimar journalist Paul Brown (5 January) claimed that their priority right now is sorting the future of sporting director Kevin Thelwell and appointing a new CEO.
