Plymouth Argyle set to win race for Hull City, Derby County transfer target
Plymouth Argyle are ‘one step’ away from signing Holstien Kiel’s Tymoteusz Puchacz on loan for the rest of the season, according to Meczyki.
Plymouth Argyle, Hull City and Derby County will all be in the market for new additions this month and at the start of this week, the Championship trio were all linked with the same player.
Reports emerged from Poland stating the three sides were on the trail of left-back Tymoteusz Puchacz, who is set to move to England for the rest of the season after losing his place with Bundesliga side Holsten Kiel.
Now, it seems a winner is set to emerge in the battle for the 25-year-old.
A fresh report from Polish news outlet Mecsyki, who broke the news of the original interest, now states that its Plymouth Argyle who are looking set to wrap up a deal for Puchacz. The Poland international is said to be ‘one step away’ from sealing a move to Home Park, which could be confirmed in the coming days.
Puchacz only joined Holstien Kiel in the summer off the back of a strong loan with FC Kaiserslautern but after starting out as his new club’s go-to man on the left, he hasn’t started a league game Ince November 24th.
