Ruud van Nistelrooy has already given two-word response as Facundo Buonanotte eyes Leicester City exit .
Leicester City’s transfer deadline day hasn’t exactly got off to a wild start, but it could take a turn for the worst.
Fans were angered to hear that more incomings were unlikely and there will also be a penny for the thoughts of Ruud van Nistelrooy, after he asked for four new signings.
Only one player has joined Leicester this month and any other deals have seen fringe/youth players head out on loan – aside from Tom Cannon, who joined Sheffield United.
However, one new update has emerged around the future of Facundo Buonanotte, but not for good reasons.
Leicester transfer news: Facundo Buonanotte wants to cancel loan deal
Buonanotte has been one of Leicester’s best signings this season but following the arrival of Van Nistelrooy in November, has found his game time reduced significantly.
Van Nistelrooy and Buonanotte had a reported bust-up after the Foxes’ recent loss to Fulham and rumours have circulated about his future.
According to Tom Collomosse of the Daily Mail, Buonanotte actually wants to cancel his loan deal and return to Brighton & Hove Albion in the hope that he can be loaned out elsewhere.
With less than 10 hours of the deadline to go, if it were to be cancelled then the Foxes would be left with little time to bring in a suitable replacement.
Ruud van Nistelrooy has already revealed if Facundo Buonanotte will leave Leicester
It’s not the first time the young Argentine has been tipped to return to Brighton after murmers of discontent.
Brighton can’t recall Buonanotte as he has already played too many games for Leicester, however, the Foxes could cancel the loan on their behalf to allow him to return to the Amex Stadium.
Even if Buonanotte is hoping he can leave, Van Nistelrooy has already made it clear that he has no intention of letting him leave.
During an interview back in December, the Dutchman’s two-word response when asked if he couldn’t leave was: “Yes. Correct.”
There is still time for the 20-year-old to force his way back into the side but a big decision has to be made before the end of the window.
Brighton youngster visiting another team – Club ‘considering signing’ him on deadline day.
Brighton & Hove Albion could see youngster Yussif Owusu leave on winter deadline day, according to a report from Denmark.
The Premier League club signed the 18-year-old for their academy from Chelsea in 2022. He initially started with Brighton U18s and then promoted to their U21 side last summer.
Owusu made seven appearances for Brighton U21s this season of which five were in the Premier League 2 this season.
Tipsbladet journalist Farzam Abolhosseini took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report about the midfielder’s potential move to Denmark.
