Luton Town – The Great Transfer Window Poll Result.
Okay, that’s another transfer window done and dusted with the result that the daily grind of transfer speculation has slowed dramatically.
With deals, in and out, now done and dusted, we’ll have to cut our cloth accordingly and hope the rejuvenated squad can steer us clear of the relegation fight we’ve descended into.
Immediately after the transfer window slammed shut, I couldn’t resist posting a poll which asked the following question:
How Do You Rate Luton’s Winter Transfer Window Dealings?
Providing three options for the readership to choose from:
• EXCELLENT
• AVERAGE
and
• POOR
With the transfer window now shut, I am now in a position to release the results.
It seems that 51%, a majority, thought it had been an AVERAGE transfer window, which surprises me.
I thought the Hatters hierarchy responded magnificently to the call, from the support, for change and dealt with a tricky situation whereby the squad numbers were too high. Quite what the 51% wanted I struggle to comprehend.
As for the remainder of the votes cast, 36% of those that clicked on an option, thought, like myself, it had been an EXCELLENT transfer window, whereas the remaining 13% thought it had been a POOR window, now whether they expected a multitude of million pound signings we’ll never know.
Of course, we all have our views on how dealings should have been conducted, in this transfer window and I’d be interested to read your views in the comment facility beneath this article.
