Josh Jacobs sends a clear message to the Packers about Davante Adams
He’s certainly not shy about what he wants!
It sure would have been ideal if the Green Bay Packers were the ones lining up across from the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend in Super Bowl 59. But, the cards didn’t fall their way this season.
Instead, the Packers are with 29 other teams watching from afar. One of the players most adamant about getting back to the postseason and motivated to win a Super Bowl just so happened to be a newcomer this past season.
Running back Josh Jacobs was quite the difference-maker for Green Bay over the 2024 season as he was the clear catalyst of this offense. Jacobs’ career-high 15 rushing touchdowns helped the Packers find their way to a postseason berth, but as we know, they came up short of the ultimate goal.
During the craziness of Super Bowl week, Jacobs caught up with NFL personality Kay Adams and, of the topics covered, of course they had to chat about former Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.
Jacobs spoke highly of his current teammates but also acknowledged they needed more. A Davante Adams reunion would certainly help.
“Would you welcome a return of Davante Adams to Green Bay?” (Kay) Adams asked.
