Blackburn Rovers new boys handed U21s minutes to help get up to speed
Blackburn Rovers gave Emmanuel Dennis, Cauley Woodrow and Yuri Ribeiro a run out for their U21s on Wednesday, as per their official club website.
Blackburn Rovers handed their new trio 45 minutes against Athletic Bilbao. Rovers ended up losing 2-1 and are out of the Premier League International Cup.
The Championship side delved into the market this winter to bring in Dennis, Woodrow and Ribeiro to bolster their ranks. They also snapped up Dion Sanderson and Adam Forshaw.
John Eustace’s side are currently sat in 5th place in the table as they eye promotion to the Premier League. They are inside the play-offs along with Sheffield United, Sunderland and West Brom and are a point above Middlesbrough in 7th.
Blackburn Rovers are back in action this weekend against top flight outfit Wolves in the FA Cup fourth round at Ewood Park as they have a break from league action.
