“Haven’t Had A Truly Dynamic Tight End In A While”: Indianapolis Colts Suggested To Make Shocking Trade This Offseason.
The Indianapolis Colts missed the playoffs once again in 2024 and haven’t made it since 2020. The Colts fanbase wanted to see general manager Chris Ballard fired at the end of the season, but owner Jim Irsay decided to keep him for some reason.

Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen will both be back for the 2025 NFL season. This is a time for the Indianapolis Colts to make the playoffs. They need to make key moves this offseason.

One of the things that the Colts have struggled with over the last few seasons is having an elite playmaker. Indianapolis could address that in the 2025 NFL Draft or they could address that issue elsewhere this offseason.
The Bleacher Report Scouting Department created a trade list for each NFL team for the 2025 NFL offseason. They suggested that the Colts should trade the 80th overall pick (third-round selection) in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Atlanta Falcons for Kyle Pitts.

Pitts will be entering the final year of his contract. The star tight end is only 24 years old and is due for a new contract after this season. If Atlanta can’t re-sign him, it will be interesting to see where he would go after this season or beforehand. The Bleacher Report Scouting Department said:
This past season with the Atlanta Falcons, Pitts caught 47 passes for 602 yards receiving and four touchdowns, along with averaging 12.8 yards per reception. He was also targeted 74 times in the Falcons offense this past season.
There is no doubt that the Indianapolis Colts would love to have a player like Kyle Pitts in their offense. He would be the best tight end in an Indianapolis Colts uniform since Dallas Clark.
