Alfie Devine faces a lengthy spell on the sideline
The injury crisis at Spurs isn’t limited to players at Hotspur Way, as on-loan star Alfie Devine has become the latest casualty with a hamstring injury.
The 20-year-old has impressed during his loan spell at Westerlo in Belgium, featuring in 21 games for the Jupiler Pro League side and netting four goals from midfield.
Unfortunately, his momentum was cut short in Sunday’s 4-2 victory over Standard Liege when he limped off after just 24 minutes due to a left hamstring injury.
Scans have confirmed the injury, and according to football.london, the young midfielder is expected to be out for four to six weeks.
