On Wednesday, video footage surfaced of Hutchinson sharing his thoughts, including a direct message on the possibility of playing with Garrett and what it would mean for his team going forward toward the Lions’ first ever Super Bowl victory.

Hutchinson made the comments during NFL Honors on Feb. 6. They were revealed on social media Wednesday amid news that the Browns may be willing to part ways with their cornerstone pass rusher.

The man known as ‘Hutch’ added that he gets along well with Garrett and he spoke to him at the event. “I was talking to him, we were at the Honors and we were just talking about what could be,” Hutchinson said. “But yea, our whole D-line would be like totally elevated and…That’d be a scary defensive line.” The former Texas A&M Aggies star Garrett had 14 sacks and three forced fumbles for the Browns last season while also compiling 40 solo tackles. The 2017 number one overall pick, a trade to Detroit seems unlikely, with the Washington Commanders recently becoming the betting favorite to land the former Big 12 Conference star.
