Bears fans can’t help but laugh at Matt Eberflus’ latest tone deaf quote
It’s like the good ol’ days never ended!
There probably aren’t a lot of things that Bears fans are going to miss about Matt Eberflus, but one thing that Halas Hall will be sadly short on this year is the absolute dopiest quotes possible. (That’s the hope, at least.) Eberflus always seemed like a nice guy who was maybe, perhaps, just a little bit over his head as an NFL head coach, and that always seemed to manifest in the worst times – aka, when he was being pressed on accountability.

So as Bears fans get used to Ben Johnson’s, uh, unique brand of enthusiam and energy, lets take one last victory lap, and pour one out, for a perfectly on-brand Eberflus quote making its way around the Bears’ corner of the internet this week.
Eberflus, who’s now the defensive coordinator for the Cowboys, did some press for the first time since being fired from the Bears in the middle of last season, and was asked about how his head coaching experience can help new Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer.
