A £7m West Brom graduate who failed to appearance returns to Championship after Rangers spell
Kemar Roofe was a hot prospect when he made his way through the West Brom academy.
The forward, now 32, made his way through the academy ranks at The Hawthorns before being sent out on a number of loans.
A period in Iceland was followed by stints at EFL clubs.
In pre-seasons, Roofe was involved at Albion and even netted in an appearance against Port Vale in a friendly, before heading to Oxford United on loan.
This spelt out the end of his Albion career, as he signed for United permanently back in 2015.
Since then, his stock continued to rise, as he impressed at the Kassam Stadium, prompting a move to the Championship with Leeds United.
At Leeds, he netted 33 goals in 129 appearances and after three years was on the move again, this time for £7m to Belgian side Anderlecht.
He netted seven goals in 16 appearances in Belgium and was impressing, before Rangers stumped up £4.5m to bring him back to the UK.
Roofe would spent four years at the Scottish side, netting importing goals in Europe and scoring 38 times in 102 games.
His time in Scotland ended back in the summer at the end of his contract, and he has been out of contract since.
